"Poppy is doing wonderful she has so much personality, she loves to train, play and be in the backyard! Her favorite/best skill is sitting to say please! Everyone that meets her is obsessed, she even has a coffee shop where everyone knows her name!
She has already helped out a patient, she sat in with one of my chronic pain patients today. My patient just emailed me saying how much better she felt after the session and getting to hold poppy!
She has been socialized (safely) with trusted patients and friends/dogs she does so well with people and is just such a calming presence. She has been out to busy streets, coffee shops and restaurants while being held - she stays calm with noises and different people approaching. She also fell asleep outside while fireworks were going off yesterday while we were hosting a 4th of July barbecue!
She loves her crate at work and does not whine or cry anymore, we are still working on her crate at home! Potty training is going well, she has never had an accident in her crate and when she has had an accident it is more my fault! Biting is the thing we are working on the most, but she is getting so much better! She loves playing with my roommates dog, it took a few days of getting used to, but now she loves playing with Winnie, and can be the more dominant one surprisingly! Something else that has been so fun is seeing her spark and sassy attitude come out! She is perfect! I could go on and on but thank you so so much for everything you poured into her! "

"We've named our light pink girl Penny! We are so in love with her already, she is definitely the perfect pup for us! Overall I think we are doing well. The first few days we focused on bonding and just trying to get through the day. Since then we've been working on getting a consistent schedule, and every day gets a bit easier.
We've introduced her to peanut butter and pumpkin in her Kong, and frozen carrots. She loves them all and they really help her to enjoy and be excited about crate/nap time. She sleeps mostly through the night in her crate and just has to get up once near the morning to pee, and then she'll settle again for a few hours.
Her favorite toys are the ones that make a crinkling sound. You mentioned when we picked her up that she loves tunnels and that is still true! We have a large tunnel toy from our cat and she goes nuts running through it. Also, she very much enjoys listening to us play the piano for her and that's our fool-proof way to calm her down at night, although she prefers Max's playing over mine for some reason haha. Other than that, she's been getting along with our cat, Winston, quite well. They haven't had any bad interactions yet and we are hopeful they will slowly become the best of buds over time!
I've included some pictures of Penny, as well. We can already tell she is growing so fast!"

He’s such a smart little guy (who is getting less “little” every five minutes it seems!). He learned “sit,” “stay,” “shake,” “come,” “heel,” and leash walking almost immediately—we didn’t push him, we just tried one day and he was like an excited little sponge! He is a pretty zealous player and expert sleeper. Since we plan to train him as a therapy dog in the nursing home my husband does PT in, it’s really fun to see both how trainable and how SWEET he is. I think he’s going to do so well and bring comfort and joy to a lot of people. The puppy stage is definitely challenging, but we are enjoying building bonds with him, helping him navigate his new life, and seeing him bloom!"

"Maple has settled in well and loves her big brother, Butters. They both get along so great and are inseparable - always playing together, cuddling up together, etc. I think having him here really helped her transition from leaving her siblings and mama.
She is just as cuddly and calm as you had reported. She's also very confident and does not seem to be afraid of anything (vacuum, loud noises, etc). She's potty training exceptionally fast and well- we have bells hanging from our glass sliding door that she paws to ring when she needs to go outside. We take her outside and give her a treat when she goes potty. She hasn't had many accidents at all in the house.
We are quickly realizing that Maple is going to be our Alpha :) Butters is very energetic, but submissive. She is the big instigator for play time, so it's all in good fun and Butters responds very well to it. He's very gentle with her.
She has truly completed our family and Butters is happy to have a forever playmate. We love her so much!!
We have had such an amazing experience working with you from start to finish. We attribute Maple's amazing qualities to how much care and effort you put into the pups from day 1. So thank you!! "

"Goldens on the rocks can be summed up in a couple of words. Professional, caring and knowledgeable. This was my first experience with buying a puppy from a breeder and to top it off, I live miles away from them in Ohio. Needless to say, I had a million questions. The reason I decided to choose GOTR was pretty simple.
The entire process was honest and professional from beginning to end. I never felt pressured during what I would consider a big transaction. They always got back to me in a timely fashion and answered all of my questions. I was giving Daisy Mae (our precious pup) as a Christmas gift to my 8 year old daughter and because the pup was too young to leave her mama at that time, they even arranged a video chat with me on Christmas morning so she could see her. What a priceless gift! They take pride in their work as breeders and treat their dogs as family. We were able to see the beautiful ranch they live on and all the dogs thriving!
When Daisy Mae arrived, she was in great condition and all of her vet documents were up to date and paperwork was all enclosed. She was super happy and healthy. She is such a great dog. She's smart, beautiful and a golden retriever at heart. She is tender and very in-tune to her humans. She kisses and cuddles us even when we sneeze, ha-ha. What a joy she has brought us. It's amazing to see her grow and watch her become best of friends with my daughter.

She's smart, beautiful and a golden retriever at heart. She is tender and very in-tune to her humans. She kisses and cuddles us even when we sneeze, ha-ha. What a joy she has brought us. It's amazing to see her grow and watch her become best of friends with my daughter.
Goldens on the rocks are a class act.
